TL;DR: The first dedicated search for ultra-high energy (UHE) tau neutrinos of astrophysical origin was performed using the IceCube detector in its 22-string configuration with an instrumented volume of roughly 0: 25 km(3) as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of hydroxypyrone- and hydroxythiopyrone-based matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors: Developing a structure–activity relationship
TL;DR: The results here show that theZBG, the position of the backbone on the ZBG, and the nature of the linker between the Z BG and backbone are critical for MMPi activities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low Prevalence of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Among Pregnant and Postpartum Patients With Universal Screening in Seattle, Washington.

Adams Waldorf,Kristina M. Adams Waldorf,Jane Hitti +32 more
TL;DR: Low prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 among pregnant and postpartum patients with universal testing is found and among asymptomatic patients, 2 were positive or inconclusive, respectively; repeat testing at 24 hours was negative.
Journal ArticleDOI
Epidithiodiketopiperazines Inhibit Protein Degradation by Targeting Proteasome Deubiquitinase Rpn11.
Jing Li,Jing Li,Yaru Zhang,Yaru Zhang,Bruno Sil dos Santos,Feng Wang,Yuyong Ma,Christian Perez,Yanling Yang,Junmin Peng,Seth M. Cohen,Tsui-Fen Chou,Stephen T. Hilton,Raymond J. Deshaies,Raymond J. Deshaies,Raymond J. Deshaies +15 more
TL;DR: Using this assay, it is discovered that epidithiodiketopiperazine (ETPs) blocked the degradation of the authors' model substrate in vitro and SOP11 represents a class of Rpn11 inhibitor and provides an alternative route to develop proteasome inhibitors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of Rhinitis in Laryngitis: Another Dimension of the Unified Airway:
TL;DR: Patients with Rhinitis (AR or NAR) had a higher prevalence of dysphonia than did controls and patients with worse rhinitis symptoms had worse voice-related quality of life and more severe chronic laryngeal symptoms.
