Journal ArticleDOI

Acoustic phonon sideband dynamics during polaron formation in a single quantum dot.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors combine simulations and measurements of the ultrafast, coherent, nonlinear optical response obtained by four-wave mixing (FWM) spectroscopy, to resolve the formation of this polaron.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamic properties of 1.5 /spl mu/m quantum dash lasers on (100) InP

TL;DR: In this paper, the static and dynamic properties of state-of-the-art InP-based QDash laser around 1.55 µm are reported, with a total output power of 37 µmW and a total slope efficiency of 0.40 µm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magneto-exciton-polariton condensation in a sub-wavelength high contrast grating based vertical microcavity

TL;DR: In this paper, the diamagnetic shift of an uncoupled quantum well exciton with a microcavity exciton-polariton condensate on the same device was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interface Intermixing in Type II InAs/GaInAsSb Quantum Wells Designed for Active Regions of Mid-Infrared-Emitting Interband Cascade Lasers

TL;DR: The analysis of cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy images and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy could deduce the composition distribution across the QW layers and hence simulate more realistic confinement potential profiles and reproduce the experimentally obtained trend.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cascaded emission of linearly polarized single photons from positioned InP/GaInP quantum dots

TL;DR: In this paper, the optical characterization of site-controlled InP/GaInP quantum dots (QDs) is presented, revealing a yield of ∼90% of optically active, positioned QDs and a strong suppression of emitters on interstitial positions.
