TL;DR: Patients with takotsubo cardiomyopathy had a higher prevalence of neurologic or psychiatric disorders than did those with an acute coronary syndrome and physical triggers, acute neurologics or psychiatric diseases, high troponin levels, and a low ejection fraction on admission were independent predictors for in-hospital complications.

Deep learning with long short-term memory networks for financial market predictions

TL;DR: This work deploys LSTM networks for predicting out-of-sample directional movements for the constituent stocks of the S&P 500 from 1992 until 2015 and finds one common pattern among the stocks selected for trading – they exhibit high volatility and a short-term reversal return profile.

Towards Taming Privilege-Escalation Attacks on Android

TL;DR: A heuristic analysis of Android's system behavior is conducted to identify attack patterns, classify different adversary models, and point out the challenges to be tackled, and a system-centric and policy-driven runtime monitoring of communication channels between applications at multiple layers is proposed.
