TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explain the concept of covert marketing strategy and its techniques and suggest a communication model which can be used in this process, which is a solution to the problem of communication with the consumer. But, as the consumer is exposed to more messages every day, this has resulted in insensitivity on the part of customers towards commercial messages.

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between the substrate temperature and the electrical properties of the thin titanium dioxide thin films was investigated. But the authors focused on the conduction mechanism of the films and not on the physical plausibility of the hopping parameters.
Abstract: Titanium dioxide thin films were obtained by a dc sputtering technique onto heated glass substrates. The relationship between the substrate temperature and the electrical properties of the films was investigated. Electrical resistivity measurements showed that three types of conduction channels contribute to conduction mechanism in the temperature range of 13–320 K. The temperature dependence of electrical resistivity between 150 and 320 K indicated that electrical conduction in the films was controlled by potential barriers caused by depletion of carriers at grain boundaries. The conduction mechanism of the films was shifted from grain boundary scattering dominated band conduction to the nearest neighbor hopping conduction at temperatures between 55 and 150 K. Below 55 K, the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity shows variable range hopping conduction. The correlation between the substrate temperature and resistivity behavior is discussed by analyzing the physical plausibility of the hopping parameters and material properties derived by applying different conduction models. With these analyses, various electrical parameters of the present samples such as barrier height, donor concentration, density of states at the Fermi level, acceptor concentration and compensation ratio were determined. Their values as a function of substrate temperature were compared.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the boundedness of the fractional integral operator Iα on the Carnot group G in the generalized Morrey spaces M p, φ (G).
Abstract: In this paper, we study the boundedness of the fractional integral operator I α on Carnot group G in the generalized Morrey spaces M p, φ (G). We shall give a characterization for the strong and weak type boundedness of I α on the generalized Morrey spaces, respectively. As applications of the properties of the fundamental solution of sub-Laplacian L on G, we prove two Sobolev–Stein embedding theorems on generalized Morrey spaces in the Carnot group setting.

TL;DR: Although the level of CXCL5 is high in CRC, its level in serum is not significant enough to support the early diagnosis of the disease.
Abstract: Background: Several studies indicate that chemokines play important roles in colorectal mucosal immunity. The chemokine CXCL5 which is expressed by epithelial cells within colorectal mucosa is a promoter of cell proliferation, migration and invasion, is a novel serum prognostic marker in patients with colorectal cancer. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether serum and tissue CXCL5 levels is altered in colorectal carcinomas (CRC) compared to colonic adenoma and normal mucosa. It also aimed to compare colon adenoma and colorectal cancer for blood CXCL5 and CEA levels, their sensitivity, and specificity. Methods: CXCL5 expression was assessed with immunohistochemistry staining in biopsy samples taken during colonoscopy in 22 colonic adenomas, 23 colorectal carcinomas and 23 normal colonic tissue samples. Also all patients’ serum CXCL5 and CEA levels were measured. This stduy was prospective observational study. Results: The number of cases who were stained positive with immunohistochemistry was found to be higher in the group with CRC. When compared with the other groups, both levels of serum CXCL5 and CEA were significantly high in the group CRC. Sensitivity and specificity of serum CXCL5 were found to be low as a result of the ROC analysis. Conclusion: Although the level of CXCL5 is high in CRC, its level in serum is not significant enough to support the early diagnosis of the disease.
