TL;DR: The dose of phenolic compounds in OEO reaching the small intestine might be enough for protecting the intestinal epithelial cells from damages of toxins and for removing the negative effects of delayed feeding on the morphological development of all theSmall intestine segments of broiler chicks on d 14.
Abstract: The study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of oregano essential oil (OEO) on the morphological development of small intestine of broilers with different feeding times (immediate, 24, 48 or 72 h posthatching delayed feeding) from d 0 to 14. The diets were supplemented with: no, 250 or 500 mg/kg of the OEO (OEO250 and OEO500, respectively). Fasting for 72 h significantly increased the weight and length of small intestine segments of broilers on d 14. The OEO250 and OEO500 significantly increased the jejunum villus height of chickens fed immediately and the duodenum villus height of broilers fasted for 48 h. The duodenum villus surface area of chickens fasted for 48 h and the ileum villus surface area of broilers fasted for 24 h were significantly increased by the OEO250. The OEO500 significantly enhanced the duodenum villus surface area of broilers fasted for 24 h and their ileum villus surface area fasted for 48 h. The crypt depths of small intestine segments of broilers fasted for 72 h were significantly reduced by OEO250 and OEO500. In conclusion, the dose of phenolic compounds in OEO reaching the small intestine might be enough for protecting the intestinal epithelial cells from damages of toxins and for removing the negative effects of delayed feeding on the morphological development of all the small intestine segments of broiler chicks on d 14.

TL;DR: In this article, the conditions for the boundedness of the commutators of the fractional maximal operator in generalized Orlicz-Morrey spaces were studied and sufficient conditions on the pairs were obtained in terms of supremal-type inequalities on weights.
Abstract: We consider generalized Orlicz–Morrey spaces $$M_{\Phi ,\varphi }({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ including their weak versions $$WM_{\Phi ,\varphi }({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ . We find the sufficient conditions on the pairs $$(\varphi _{1},\varphi _{2})$$ and $$(\Phi , \Psi )$$ which ensures the boundedness of the fractional maximal operator $$M_{\alpha }$$ from $$M_{\Phi ,\varphi _1}({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ to $$M_{\Psi ,\varphi _2}({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ and from $$M_{\Phi ,\varphi _1}({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ to $$WM_{\Psi ,\varphi _2}({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ . As applications of those results, the boundedness of the commutators of the fractional maximal operator $$M_{b,\alpha }$$ with $$b \in BMO({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ on the spaces $$M_{\Phi ,\varphi }({\mathbb {R}^n})$$ is also obtained. In all the cases the conditions for the boundedness are given in terms of supremal-type inequalities on weights $$\varphi (x,r)$$ , which do not assume any assumption on monotonicity of $$\varphi (x,r)$$ on $$r$$ .

TL;DR: In this paper, the relationship between teachers' professional self-esteem and empathic skills was assessed using the Scale for Professional Self-Esteem (Aricak, 1999) and Scale for Empathic Skills -B Form (Dokmen, 1988).
Abstract: The relationship between teachers’ professional self-esteem and empathic skills was assessed. Participants were 216 female teachers working in preschools in the city center of Ankara. Data were gathered using a general information form; the Scale for Professional Self-Esteem (Aricak, 1999) was used to measure teachers’ professional self-esteem; and empathic skills were measured with the Scale for Empathic Skills - B Form (Dokmen, 1988). A positive relationship was found between teachers’ professional self-esteem and empathic skills ( r = .17, p > .05).

TL;DR: In this article, the second-order elastic constants and the electronic band structures of the X2ScAl (x = Ir, Os, and Pt) compounds crystallized in the L21 phase were calculated separately by using the ab-initio density functional theory.
Abstract: In the present study, the second-order elastic constants and the electronic band structures of the X2ScAl (x = Ir, Os, and Pt) compounds crystallized in the L21 phase were calculated separately by using the ab-initio density functional theory. According to the results for the second-order elastic constants, these compounds met the Born mechanical stability criteria. Also, according to the Pugh criteria, they were found to have a ductile structure and to show anisotropic behavior. The microhardneses of the compounds were between 2 and 14 GPa, and the highest hardness was found in the Ir2ScAl (14.290 GPa) compound. In addition, the energy band structures of these compounds were calculated, and the crystals were found to have a metallic bond structure. All the computed data were compared with previously calculated results obtained with different methods. According to the findings obtained in the present study, in terms of its mechanical and electronic behaviors, Ir2ScAl was found to have better physical properties than Os2ScAl and Pt2ScAl. The phonon dispersion curves and their corresponding total and projected densities of states were investigated for the first time by using a linear-response approach in the context of density functional perturbation theory. The frequencies of the optical phonon modes of all compounds at the Γ point were 4.767, 7.504 and 9.271 THz for Ir2ScAl, 2.761, 7.985 and 9.184 THz for Os2ScAl and 2.012, 5.6952 and 8.118 THz for Pt2ScAl. The heat capacity Cv at constant volume versus temperature was calculated using a quasi-harmonic approach and the results are discussed.
