TL;DR: The boundedness of the commutators of Riesz potential operator [b,Iα]$[ b,I_{\alpha }]$ on Orlicz spaces when b belongs to the BMO and Lipschitz spaces, respectively is considered.
Abstract: In the present paper, we shall give necessary and sufficient conditions for the strong and weak boundedness of the Riesz potential operator $I_{\alpha}$ on Orlicz spaces. Cianchi (J. Lond. Math. Soc. 60(1):247-286, 2011) found necessary and sufficient conditions on general Young functions Φ and Ψ ensuring that this operator is of weak or strong type from $L^{\Phi}$ into $L^{\Psi}$ . Our characterizations for the boundedness of the above-mentioned operator are different from the ones in (Cianchi in J. Lond. Math. Soc. 60(1):247-286, 2011). As an application of these results, we consider the boundedness of the commutators of Riesz potential operator $[b,I_{\alpha }]$ on Orlicz spaces when b belongs to the BMO and Lipschitz spaces, respectively.

TL;DR: In this paper, a constant pressure ab initio technique is used to study the pressure-induced phase transition in BeO. A first order phase transition from the wurtzite structure to a rocksalt structure at 700.0 GPa is successfully observed in constant pressure simulation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of green confusion, green perceived risk, and green trust on green brand equity are tested, and the study also develops perceived greenwash index, so that it reveals a direct effect of greenwash on greenbrand equity.
Abstract: Today, companies are searching for the ways to be perceived as more sensitive to the environment in order to enhance their green brand equity, because of consumers’ increasing environmental concern. Companies have reacted to increasing environmental consciousness of consumers by introducing and developing eco-friendly products. However, there are still consumers being suspicious about the environmental performance of companies and their products. Greenwash or disclosure of deceptive green claims decreases the popularity of the real green product and decreases the effectiveness of green marketing. This study proposed four constructs -greenwashing, green perceived risk, green confusion and green trust- as the predictors of the green brand equity of gas station companies. The study offers a negative relationship between greenwash perception and green brand equity. Besides, the effects of green confusion, green perceived risk and green trust on green brand equity are tested. The study also develops perceived greenwash index, so that it reveals a direct effect of greenwash on green brand equity. The empirical analysis was carried out based on the data obtained from 400 customers of the gas station companies, which are located in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. The survey result was analyzed by using Partial Least Squares (PLS-PM) analysis method. The results reveal that consumer’s greenwash perception has a positive effect on green confusion and green perceived risk, whereas green confusion and green perceived risk have negative effects on green trust. Expectedly, green trust has a positive effect on green brand equity. The result also indicates that consumer’s greenwash perception negatively and directly affects green brand equity.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the effect of quantum learning model on science teacher candidates' self-efficacy and communication skills and found that there was no significant difference between the science teacher candidate's science teaching selfefficacy pre-test and post-test mean scores.
Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of quantum learning model on science teacher candidates’ self-efficacy and communication skills. One group pre-test post-test experimental design was performed in the study. The research was carried out with 20 teacher candidates having education in third grade of Division of Science Education in Ahi Evran University. A total of 16 hours’ seminar was given to the teacher candidates in the research group about “Quantum Learning Model” and the techniques used in quantum learning model. The application of the research was performed in 8 weeks and in a total of 32 hours with laboratory experiments arranged in accordance with the “Quantum Learning Model” in the course of Science Teaching Laboratory Practices-II. Before and after the experimental studies, “Science Teaching Self-Efficacy Belief Questionnaire” and “Self-Awareness Inventory” were performed on teacher candidates. The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS package program. According to the results of the research, there was no significant difference between the science teacher candidates’ science teaching self-efficacy pre-test and post-test mean scores. Between the mean scores of science teacher candidates in science teaching self-efficacy pre-test and post-test, there was a significant difference in favor of post-test.

TL;DR: It was determined that the presence of ocular Demodex colonization was associated with the average Schirmer test scores, OSDI scores, and age values in patients with newly diagnosed DED, and this association with etiopathogenesis of dry eye persisted even after controlling the mean age values.
Abstract: Objective:To determine whether ocular Demodex colonization results in differences in Schirmer test scores and Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) questionnaire values in individuals with dry eye disease (DED) diagnosed for the first time.Method:Eighty-eight adults aged 40 to 68 years who were admitt
