TL;DR: A porous hollow-fibre membrane containing l -phenylalanine as a pseudo-biospecific ligand has been prepared by radiation-induced grafting of glycidyl methacrylate onto polyethylene microfiltration hollow fibre followed by coupling of the produced epoxide group with l - phenylalanines.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that for the calculation of uranium and lanthanum separation coefficients, it is necessary to determine the voltammetric peak potentials of U(III) and La(III), their concentration in the melt and the kinetic parameters relating to U (III) discharge such as transfer and diffusion coefficients, and standard rate constants of charge transfer.

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple empirical formula for sputtering yields of monatomic metals and semiconductors, taking the threshold effect for knock-on of atoms into account in the Sigmund theory, was derived.
Abstract: We have derived a simple empirical formula for sputtering yields of monatomic metals and semiconductors, taking the threshold effect for knock-on of atoms into account in the Sigmund theory. It is found that this semi-empirical formula fits to the energy dependence of the sputtering yields over a wide range of ion-target combinations. The best fit values of the parameters for the formula are given as a function of the ratio of the mass of target atoms and the mass of incident ions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new parametrization of the Fermi-Gas model description of nuclear level densities at excitation energies corresponding to the neutron binding energy is presented.
Abstract: The authors furnish a new parametrization of the Fermi-Gas model description of nuclear level densities at excitation energies corresponding to the neutron binding energy. The model adopted is the standard Fermi-Gas model with pairing and shell-effect corrections. Particular care has been devoted to the inclusion of shell effects and to their parametrization. The procedure for the evaluation of level density parameters has been applied to a data-base of 217 nuclei covering a mass range 41 ≤ A ≤ 253. A global systematics parametrization has been derived which allows for a derivation of level density parameters for nuclei where experimental information is not available.

TL;DR: In this article, the nuclear quadrupole-resonance (NQR) measurements of the pressure-induced superconductor in the antiferromagnetic (AF) and superconducting (SC) states were reported.
Abstract: We report ${}^{115}\mathrm{In}$ nuclear-quadrupole-resonance (NQR) measurements of the pressure $(P)$-induced superconductor ${\mathrm{CeRhIn}}_{5}$ in the antiferromagnetic (AF) and superconducting (SC) states. In the AF region, the internal field ${H}_{\mathrm{int}}$ at the In site is substantially reduced from ${H}_{\mathrm{int}}=1.75\mathrm{kOe}$ at $P=0$ to 0.39 kOe at $P=1.23\mathrm{GPa},$ while the N\'eel temperature slightly changes with increasing P. This suggests that either the size in the ordered moment ${M}_{Q}(P)$ or the angle $\ensuremath{\theta}(P)$ between the direction of ${M}_{Q}(P)$ and the tetragonal c axis is extrapolated to zero at ${P}^{*}=1.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.1\mathrm{GPa}$ at which a bulk SC transition is no longer emergent. In the SC state at $P=2.1\mathrm{GPa},$ the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate ${}^{115}{(1/T}_{1})$ has revealed a ${T}^{3}$ dependence without the coherence peak just below ${T}_{c},$ giving evidence for the unconventional superconductivity. The dimensionality of the magnetic fluctuations in the normal state is also discussed.
