Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a series of multi-walled carbon nanotubes supported Pd, PdCu(molar ratio 1:1), PdSn(1:1) and PdCNTs(1 :1):1) were synthesized by chemical reduction with NaBH4 as a reducing agent.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the surface plasmon absorption band of Ag/ZnO composites is distinctly broadened and the PL intensity varies with the increase of Ag loading, which can effectively decrease the recombination of electron-hole pairs, lead to a prolonged lifetime of the electron-holes pairs that promotes the degradation efficiency.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the most stable adsorption configurations of all reaction species (O, OH, CO, CH, CH2, CH3, CH4, HCOO, C(OH), CH2O, etc.) in three paths of CO2 methanation adsorbed on the Ni(111) surface are described.

TL;DR: Atomic-resolution images of the same basic structures of the original crown ethers embedded in graphene are presented, showing that the close similarity of the structures should also extend to their selectivity towards specific metal cations.
Abstract: Crown ethers have been used as strong and selective binders for alkali metals and other cations since their discovery. Here the authors observe crown ether type structures in partially oxidized graphene and through simulations predict that they have similar abilities to selectively bind cations.

TL;DR: The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technique that converts NOx from the outlet of industrial boilers at low temperature (<200 °C) requires catalysts that possess both the oxidization property and the catalytic property as mentioned in this paper.
