29 Aug 2019TL;DR: In this article, a system, method, and computer program product for applying deep learning analysis to predict and automatically respond to predicted changes in financial device primacy for a financial device holder.
Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for applying deep learning analysis to predict and automatically respond to predicted changes in financial device primacy for a financial device holder. The method includes receiving transaction data representative of a plurality of transactions between the financial device holder and a merchant. The method also includes generating time series data based on the transaction data and generating a predictive model configured to: (i) receive an input of time-interval-based transaction data; and (ii) output a probability of primary financial device primacy change, the predictive model trained based on historic transaction data. The method further includes determining a probability of primary financial device primacy change for the financial device holder by applying the predictive model to the time series data. The method further includes, generating at least one communication to at least one issuer and/or the financial device holder.

25 Feb 2021TL;DR: In this paper, a method for selectively displaying information regarding activity in a geographic area is presented, where a plurality of card-present payment transactions have been conducted in the geographic area during a time interval.
Abstract: Provided is a method for selectively displaying information regarding activity in a geographic area. The method may include receiving data regarding a plurality of card-present payment transactions that have been conducted in the geographic area during a time interval, determining a plurality of segments of the geographic area, assigning each of the transactions to the segment in which the transaction was conducted, determining aggregate transaction data for each of the segments based on data regarding the transactions that have been assigned to that segment; generating a transaction index for each segment based on a comparison of the aggregate transaction data of that segment with aggregate transaction data of at least one different segment and/or least one predetermined metric, and generating a visual representation comprising data regarding the transaction index of at least one of the segments. A system and computer program product are also provided.

28 Mar 2019TL;DR: In this article, the authors present devices, systems, and methods for controlling a contactless interface on a dual interface portable device, which allow for contactless enablement and disablement on both a temporary and semi-permanent basis, dependent on commands sent to the device by an issuer of the portable device.
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for controlling a contactless interface on a dual interface portable device are provided. The methods allow for contactless enablement and disablement on both a temporary and semi-permanent basis, dependent on commands sent to the device by an issuer of the portable device. The commands are received through a terminal device and are transferred to the portable device during a contact transaction. Configuration data on the portable device is modified according to the received commands. An application on the portable device controls the transmission of data through the contactless interface dependent on the configuration data.

18 Jan 2018TL;DR: In this article, a user interface for dynamically validating at least a portion of programming codes as an application program interface (API) modification request is presented, where a first window displays data definitions for one or more configurable elements for a request to be operably connected to an API.
Abstract: A user interface for dynamically validating at least a portion of programming codes as an application program interface (API) modification request. A first window area statically displays data definitions for one or more configurable elements for a request to be operably connected to an API. A second window area displays programming codes structured according to the data definitions for the request. The second window area also receives a first input from a user to modify the configurable elements. In response to receiving the first input, a dynamic request display area receives an instruction from the user to submit the programming codes to the API for validation. The submitted programming codes are not complete as a complete transaction request for processing by the API. The dynamic request display area displays a response substantially immediate after the programming codes are submitted, and response indicates whether the submitted programming codes are valid.

18 Feb 2021TL;DR: In this paper, a system, method, and computer program product for authenticating a user for a transaction is presented, which can generate an electronic wallet key pair including a public key and a corresponding electronic wallet secret key associated with a payment gateway system.
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for authenticating a user for a transaction; generate an electronic wallet key pair including an electronic wallet public key and a corresponding electronic wallet secret key, the electronic wallet key pair associated with an electronic wallet transaction processing system; receive a payment gateway public key corresponding to a payment gateway secret key, the payment gateway public key and the payment gateway secret key associated with a payment gateway system; generate a public re-encryption key based on the payment gateway public key; communicate, to the payment gateway system, the public re-encryption key; receive or determine encrypted transaction data associated with a transaction, the encrypted transaction data including an account identifier encrypted with the electronic wallet public key; re-encrypt the encrypted transaction data with the public re-encryption key; and communicate, to the payment gateway system, the re-encrypted transaction data.
