TLDR
An action-angle representation of spin variables was used to relate the large-S Heisenberg antiferromagnet to the O(3) nonlinear sigma model quantum field theory, with precise equivalence for integral S as discussed by the authors.About:

Spin Gap and String Order Parameter in the Ferromagnetic Spiral Staircase Heisenberg Ladder: A Quantum Monte Carlo Study
TL;DR: It is shown that the ground state in the (theta, J perpendicular) plane has a finite string order parameter characterizing the Haldane phase, which is interpreted in terms of a Suhl-Nakamura interaction.

Dressed solitonic excitations for the AKLT Hamiltonian
TL;DR: In this article, a simple variational ansatz was used to construct approximate excitations in the form of dressed hidden domain walls, which allowed an improved upper bound for the gap of the AKLT Hamiltonian, which is only 1% larger than the best currently available numerical result.

Spin dynamics along the chain direction in an S = 3/2, quasi-one-dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet CsVCl3
TL;DR: Inelastic neutron scattering experiments investigating the spin dynamics along the chain direction of an S = 3/2 quasi-one-dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet CsVCl3 were performed up to the zone boundary energy as discussed by the authors.

Influence of the biquadratic exchange interaction in the classical ground state magnetic response of the antiferromagnetic icosahedron
TL;DR: The possibility of using a small entity like the icosahedron as a magnetic unit whose ground state spin configuration and magnetization can be tuned between many different non-overlapping regimes with the application of an external field is demonstrated.

Interaction of holes within Wiegmanns approach to the Hubbard model
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derive Wiegmann's Lagrangian representation of the Hubbard model in a simple way and discuss the interaction between holes in this framework, showing that the exchange of a spin wave between fermions is shown to result in a force that vanishes in the elastic limit.

Integrable Hamiltonian systems and interactions through quadratic constraints
TL;DR: In this article, the relativistic field theories in one time and one space dimension with interactions that are entirely due to quadratic constraints are shown to be closely related to integrable Hamiltonian systems.

Interaction of Goldstone Particles in Two-Dimensions. Applications to Ferromagnets and Massive Yang-Mills Fields
TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that due to interaction the regime of the asymmptotic freedom arises and the continuation to higher dimensions and the applications of the result are briefly discussed.

What is the spin of a spin wave
L. D. Faddeev,L.A. Takhtajan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin of a spin wave in the Heisenberg antiferromagnetic chain of spins 1 2 is equal to 1 2 rather than 1 as is generally considered to be true.
