Coupling the six flux absorption-scattering model to the Henyey-Greenstein scattering phase function: Evaluation and optimization of radiation absorption in solar heterogeneous photoreactors

TL;DR: In this article, a new version of the six-flux radiation absorption-scattering model (SFM) was developed through fitting the Local Volumetric Rate of Photon Absorption (LVRPA) determined in a flat photoreactor to the "pseudo-experimental" LVRPA calculated by a Monte Carlo (MC) approach, which included the Henyey-Greenstein (HG) expression.

TiO2 photocatalysis and related surface phenomena

TL;DR: The field of photocatalysis can be traced back more than 80 years to early observations of the chalking of titania-based paints and to studies of the darkening of metal oxides in contact with organic compounds in sunlight as discussed by the authors.
