Journal ArticleDOI

A study of kesterite Cu2ZnSn(Se,S)4 formation from sputtered Cu–Zn–Sn metal precursors by rapid thermal processing sulfo-selenization of the metal thin films

TL;DR: In this article, the phase content and chemical composition of the metal precursors were characterized by X-ray phase analysis and Xray fluorescence, and the metal precursor films were then processed into metal chalcogenides by rapid thermal processing in sulfur ambient with a maximum process temperature around 500°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evolution of structure and residual stress of a fcc/hex-AlCrN multi-layered system upon thermal loading revealed by cross-sectional X-ray nano-diffraction

TL;DR: In this article, an arc-evaporated multi-layered coating, consisting of alternating Al70Cr30N and Al90Cr10N sublayers with an individual layer thickness between 120'nm and 380'nm, was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Generation and annihilation of point defects by doping impurities during FZ silicon crystal growth

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the relaxation of the lattice strain from a different point of view due to impurity doping during FZ crystal growth and showed that this phenomenon occurs in accordance with Vegard's law as tested with seven kinds of impurities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Order–disorder phase transitions in Au–Cu nanocubes: from nano-thermodynamics to synthesis

TL;DR: Following the predictions, the suggested annealing temperatures have been carefully chosen and consequently, Au-Cu ordered nanocubes have been successfully synthesized through a solventless protocol.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultraviolet ZnSe1–xSx Gradient-Alloyed Nanocrystals via a Noninjection Approach

TL;DR: P NMR study demonstrates that SeDPP is more reactive than SDPP toward Zn(OA)(2), and also supports such a model proposed on the combination of ZnSe and ZnS monomers leading to nucleation/growth ofZnSeS alloyed NCs.
