Eligibility and Disqualification Recommendations for Competitive Athletes With Cardiovascular Abnormalities: Task Force 10: The Cardiac Channelopathies: A Scientific Statement From the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
TL;DR: Any return-to-play decision for an athlete suspected of having a cardiac channelopathy necessitates that the athlete be evaluated, risk stratified, treated, and counseled by a heart rhythm specialist or genetic cardiologist with sufficient experience and expertise in these syndromes.
