TLDR
In this paper, a new molecular spectroscopic database for high-temperature modeling of the spectra of molecules in the gas phase is described, called HITEMP, which is analogous to the HITRAN database but encompasses many more bands and transitions than HitRAN for the absorbers H2O, CO2, CO, NO and OH.Abstract:
A new molecular spectroscopic database for high-temperature modeling of the spectra of molecules in the gas phase is described. This database, called HITEMP, is analogous to the HITRAN database but encompasses many more bands and transitions than HITRAN for the absorbers H2O, CO2, CO, NO, and OH. HITEMP provides users with a powerful tool for a great many applications: astrophysics, planetary and stellar atmospheres, industrial processes, surveillance, non-local thermodynamic equilibrium problems, and investigating molecular interactions, to name a few. The sources and implementation of the spectroscopic parameters incorporated into HITEMP are discussed.read more

TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D General Circulation Model (GCM) simulation with the LMD Generic model supplemented by 1-D photochemistry simulations at the terminator with the Atmos model was performed to simulate several possible atmospheres for TRAPPIST-1e, 1f and 1g: modern Earth, Archean Earth, and CO2-rich atmospheres.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors generalize the Jeans escape parameter taking hydrodynamic and Roche lobe effects into account, and find that the escape rate of hot (i.e. T eq ⪆ 1000 K) low-mass (M pl ⪅ 5 M ⊕ ) planets with high-mass high-energy stellar radiation, when they orbit M-dwarfs, lies in the boiling-off regime.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a new pipeline for analyzing the data obtained with the spatial scanning technique, starting from the raw data provided by the instrument, taking into account the geometric distortions of the instrument and the impact of which may become important when they are combined with the scanning process.

Exoplanet atmospheres with GIANO. I. Water in the transmission spectrum of HD 189733b
TL;DR: In this article, a series of spectra of the exoplanet HD 189733 b taken at the Telescopio Nazionale Galileo with the near-infrared spectrograph GIANO during two transits of the planet was used to demonstrate the concept of using high-resolution spectroscopy to investigate the composition, structure, and circulation patterns of ex-oplanet atmospheres.
