TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of the plasma nitriding time on the mechanical properties of the 18Ni300 steel obtained by selective laser melting is investigated, where samples with 30 mm diameter and 10 mm thickness were built by SLM with 99.94 % relative density and nitrided by 1, 2 and 5 h with a reactive gas mixture composed by nitrogen and argon.
