Nonlinear MPC-based energy management strategy for HEVs with consideration of vehicle parameter variation

TL;DR: In this paper, a nonlinear multi-input MPC strategy for energy management of parallel HEVs is investigated in order to properly implement the MPC algorithm, the time-varying parameter in the vehicle dynamics is considered by combining an online identification strategy Simulation testings over an urban driving cycle confirm the significant influence of the variation in vehicle parameter to the solution of the proposed real-time optimal control problem.

Study of the control algorithm of the braking system of an autonomous haul truck braking system with the use of imitational models

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered different ways of controlling the braking systems of haul trucks and the general approaches used in the development of control systems for such braking systems are described, and the developed control system and the imitational model allow them to analyze the brake system behavior under different operating modes of a haul truck.
