TLDR
In this article, the Yarkovsky effect among near Earth asteroids (NEAs) was investigated by measuring the YARKovsky-related orbital drift from the orbital fit using a high precision dynamical model, including the Newtonian attraction of 16 massive asteroids and the planetary relativistic terms.

Asteroid control through surface restructuring

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a novel concept for asteroid orbit control by restructuring asteroid surfaces to manipulate albedo and respective radiation pressure effects, which can be exploited for influencing orbit and attitude parameters.

V-type near-Earth asteroids: Dynamics, close encounters and impacts with terrestrial planets†

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed numerical simulations and statistical analysis of close encounters and impacts between V-type NEAs and the terrestrial planets over the next 10 Myr and found that at least 70% of the V-types can have close encounters with the terrestrial terrestrial planets (and 58% with the Moon).

The random walk of cars and their collision probabilities with planets

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed N-body simulations to determine the fate of the Tesla Roadster over the next several million years, under the relevant perturbations acting on the orbit.

Non-Gravitational Acceleration of the Active Asteroids

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented an astrometric investigation of 18 active asteroids in search of non-gravitational acceleration, and obtained statistically significant (signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) < 3) detections in three objects: 313P/Gibbs, 324P/La Sagra and (3200) Phaethon.

Theory and Experiment in Gravitational Physics

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a complete treatment of techniques for analyzing gravitation theory and experience, taking into account the Dicke framework, basic criteria for the viability of a gravitation theories, experimental tests of the Einstein equivalence principle, Schiff's conjecture, and a model theory devised by Lightman and Lee (1973).

Debiased Orbital and Absolute Magnitude Distribution of the Near-Earth Objects

TL;DR: In this article, a best-fit model of the near-Earth objects (NEOs) population is presented, which is fit to known NEs discovered or accidentally rediscovered by Spacewatch.

THE YARKOVSKY AND YORP EFFECTS: Implications for Asteroid Dynamics

TL;DR: The Yarkovsky and YORP effects are thermal radiation forces and torques that cause small objects to undergo semimajor axis drift and spin vector modifications, respectively, as a function of their spin, orbit, and material properties as discussed by the authors.

Application of photometric models to asteroids.

TL;DR: In this paper, the brightness of a rough and porous surface is parameterized in terms of the optical properties of individual particles, by shadowing between particles, and by the way in which light is scattered among collections of particles.
