TLDR
Human coronaviruses can persist on inanimate surfaces like metal, glass or plastic for up to 9 days, but can be efficiently inactivated by surface disinfection procedures with 62–71% ethanol, 0.5% hydrogen peroxide or 0.1% sodium hypochlorite within 1 minute.

Making Waves: Coronavirus detection, presence and persistence in the water environment: State of the art and knowledge needs for public health.

TL;DR: The main route of transmission of the human coronaviruses, and presumably also of the new pandemic SARS-CoV-2, is via droplets and close contacts, however their fecal elimination also suggests the possible spread via water.

Is the oral cavity relevant in SARS-CoV-2 pandemic?

TL;DR: Antiseptic mouth rinses, such as those containing cetylpyridinium chloride or povidone-iodine, may be able to decrease the severity of COVID-19 by reducing oral viral load in infected subjects and decreasing the risk of transmission by limiting viral loadIn droplets, generated in normal life, or in aerosols, produced during dental procedures.

Is copper beneficial for COVID-19 patients?

TL;DR: It is hypothesize that enrichment of plasma copper levels will boost both the innate and adaptive immunity in people and, owing to its potent antiviral activities, Cu may also act as a preventive and therapeutic regime against COVID-19.

SARS and MERS: recent insights into emerging coronaviruses

TL;DR: The emergence of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in 2012 marked the second introduction of a highly pathogenic coronav virus into the human population in the twenty-first century, and the current state of development of measures to combat emerging coronaviruses is discussed.

Coronavirus Disease 2019–COVID-19

TL;DR: Analysis of epidemiological, diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic aspects, including perspectives of vaccines and preventive measures that have already been globally recommended to counter this pandemic virus, suggest that this novel virus has been transferred from an animal source, such as bats.

The Effects of Temperature and Relative Humidity on the Viability of the SARS Coronavirus

TL;DR: The better stability of SARS coronavirus at low temperature and low humidity environment may facilitate its transmission in community in subtropical area during the spring and in air-conditioned environments, which may explain why some Asian countries in tropical area did not have major community outbreaks of Sars.

Effects of Air Temperature and Relative Humidity on Coronavirus Survival on Surfaces

TL;DR: TGEV and MHV could serve as conservative surrogates for modeling exposure, the risk of transmission, and control measures for pathogenic enveloped viruses, such as SARS-CoV and influenza virus, on health care surfaces.
