TLDR
Biopsies of marginal gingiva obtained still attached to extracted premolars 6–24 months after onset of tooth eruption from 10 children were processed according to standardized electron microscopic techniques and there was no statistically significant correlation between any of these parameters, and the % V VL and A I were not related to the time since onset of Tooth eruption.

Clinical and histologic characteristics of normal gingiva in dogs.

TL;DR: The aims of the present study were to establish normal gingiva in dogs, to characterize the clinical conditions prevailing and to stereologically describe the structural composition of thenormal gingival tissues.

Rheumatoid Arthritis-Associated Mechanisms of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans.

TL;DR: Clinical and mechanistic evidence surrounding the role of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans in RA pathogenesis is discussed, which highlights a key area for the treatment and preventive interventions in RA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spontaneous chronic periodontitis in adult dogs. A clinical and histopathological survey.

TL;DR: The clinical, radiographic and histopathologic features of spontaneously occurring periodontitis in adult dogs were studied and the presence of a large population of PMNs appears to be associated with highly active and destructive disease.

Neutrophil chemotactic activity elaborated by human dental plaque

TL;DR: Data from the wound chamber experiments revealed that the plaque filtrates tested do not markedly influence the permeability to plasmaproteins and water of granulation tissue vessels, and there is no increase in the amount of chemotactic factors/mg plaque with increasing age of the plaque.

The chemotactic effect of mixtures of antibody and antigen on polymorphonuclear leucocytes.

TL;DR: Results are described which indicate that, when antibody-antigen complexes are incubated in fresh serum, a heat-stable substance (or substances) is produced which acts directly as a chemotactic stimulus on the polymorphs.
