Internal resonance of vibrational modes in single-walled carbon nanotubes

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that 2:1 internal resonance may occur between a radial breathing mode (RBM) and a circumferential flexural mode (CFM) in single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs).

Impact of Mo and Ce on growth of single-walled carbon nanotubes by chemical vapour deposition using MgO-supported Fe catalysts**

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of nine catalysts containing Ce/Fe and Mo/Fe at various loadings on MgO supports have been studied as catalysts for chemical vapour deposition (CVD) of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) using a methane carbon source.

Adsorption Equilibria of Light Organics on Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube Heterogeneous Bundles: Thermodynamical Aspects

TL;DR: In this article, single-component adsorption equilibria of five different hydrocarbons (CH4, C2H6, C 2H4 and C3H8) on a high-purity sample of single-walled carbon nanotube heterogeneous bundles were measured using a static gravimetric method.

Fabrication of Surfactant-Dispersed HiPco Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube-Based Alginate Hydrogel Composites as Cellular Products.

TL;DR: Results comprehensively implied that Pluronic F108 was most efficient in preventing agglomeration of the SWCNTs in the alginate matrix, leading to a stable scaffold formation without posing any toxicity to the cells.

Raman Spectrum of Graphite

TL;DR: Raman spectra are reported from single crystals of graphite and other graphite materials as mentioned in this paper, and the Raman intensity of this band is inversely proportional to the crystallite size and is caused by a breakdown of the k-selection rule.

Unusually High Thermal Conductivity of Carbon Nanotubes

TL;DR: An unusually high value, lambda approximately 6600 W/m K, is suggested for an isolated (10,10) nanotube at room temperature, comparable to the thermal conductivity of a hypothetical isolated graphene monolayer or diamond.
