Removal of manganese (II) by edge site adsorption on raw and milled vermiculites

TLDR
In this article, the adsorption mechanism of manganese nitrate on vermiculite was studied by analysis of the isotherms of the cations exchanged from the vermiculate (K + and Ca 2−+ ) and the ions (NO 3 − and Mn 2+ ) adsorbed on the vermica.

Mechanism study on manganese(II) removal from acid mine wastewater using red mud and its application to a lab-scale column

TL;DR: In this paper, red mud and three modified samples were used as adsorbents to remove Mn(II) from acid wastewater, and the removal ability of raw red mud were investigated in a lab-scale column after prepared as immobilized beads.
