TLDR
It is concluded that in this single-center cohort, RTX associated with glucocorticoid treatment adapted for disease severity appeared to induce remission effectively in GPA patients, and maintenance treatment with low doses of RTX in a routine time-based protocol was safe and associated with low rates of relapse on treatment.

The diagnosis and clinical management of the catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome: A comprehensive review.

TL;DR: Treatment is based on the administration of anticoagulants, corticosteroids, plasma exchange and/or intravenous immunoglobulins in patients with CAPS, and Cyclophosphamide is recommended in those CAPS cases associated to systemic lupus erythematosus.

B-Lymphocyte Depletion in Myalgic Encephalopathy/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. An Open-Label Phase II Study with Rituximab Maintenance Treatment.

TL;DR: The observed patterns of delayed responses and relapse after B-cell depletion and regeneration, a three times higher disease prevalence in women than in men, and a previously demonstrated increase in B- cell lymphoma risk for elderly ME/CFS patients, suggest that ME/ CFS may be a variant of an autoimmune disease.

Trimethoprim–sulfamethoxazole prophylaxis prevents severe/life-threatening infections following rituximab in antineutrophil cytoplasm antibody-associated vasculitis

TL;DR: Trimethoprim–sulfamethoxazole prophylaxis reduced the risk, while especially bronchiectasis and endobronchial involvement are risk factors for severe respiratory infections, in patients with AAV receiving rituximab.

Rituximab as therapy to induce remission after relapse in ANCA-associated vasculitis.

Rona M Smith, +47 more
TL;DR: This large prospective cohort of patients with relapsing AAV treated with rituximab in conjunction with glucocorticoids demonstrated a high level of efficacy for the reinduction of remission in patients with AAV who have relapsed, with a similar safety profile to previous studies.

Wegener granulomatosis : an analysis of 158 patients

TL;DR: The course of Wegener granulomatosis has been dramatically improved by daily treatment with cyclophosphamide and glucocorticoids, and has led to increasing concerns about toxicity resulting from prolonged cycloph phosphamide therapy and has encouraged investigation of other therapeutic regimens.

Wegener's granulomatosis: Prospective clinical and therapeutic experience with 85 patients for 21 years

TL;DR: It is shown that long-term remissions can be induced and maintained in an extremely high number of patients by the combination of daily cyclophosphamide and alternate-day prednisone therapy.
