Among the possible subcarrier mapping approaches, it is found that localizedFDMA (LFDMA) with channel-dependent scheduling (CDS) results in higher throughput than interleaved FDMA (JFDMA), however, the PARR performance of IFDMA is better than that of LFDMA.

Optimal Joint Subcarrier and Power Allocation in NOMA is Strongly NP-Hard

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the computational complexity of joint subcarrier and power allocation problems in multi-carrier NOMA systems and proved that these problems are strongly NP-hard for a large class of objective functions, namely the weighted generalized means of the individual data rates.
