TL;DR: Valine (Val), serine (Ser), tyrosine (Tyr), and phenylalanine (Phe) had very good predictive abilities for SCM and could be used at -8 weeks and -4 weeks before calving and combination of Val, isoleucine (Ile), Ser, and proline (Pro) can be used as diagnostic biomarkers of SCM during early stages of lactation at +4 to +8 weeks after parturition.

Fecal transplant from resveratrol-fed donors improves glycaemia and cardiovascular features of the metabolic syndrome in mice.

TL;DR: It is shown that obese mice receiving FMTs from healthy resveratrol-fed mice have improved glucose homeostasis within 11 days of the first transplant, and that resver atrol-FMTs is more efficacious than oral supplementation of resverAtrol for the same duration.

Use of Proteinase K Nonspecific Digestion for Selective and Comprehensive Identification of Interpeptide Cross-links: Application to Prion Proteins

TL;DR: A nonspecific protease, proteinase K, is examined as an alternative to trypsin for cross-linking studies, which was able to detect over 60 interpeptide cross-links in the native PrPC and PrPβ prion protein.
