Leisure‐time physical activity and endometrial cancer risk: Dose–response meta‐analysis of epidemiological studies
NaNa Keum,Woong Ju,Dong Hoon Lee,Eric L. Ding,Chung C. Hsieh,Julie E. Goodman,Edward Giovannucci,Edward Giovannucci +7 more
TL;DR: An increase in leisure‐time physical activity may continue to decrease EC risk, within the range of 0–50 MET‐hour/week or 0–15 hour/week and future studies should evaluate possible independent role of intensity of physical activity and effect modification by obesity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term aspirin use and the risk of total, high-grade, regionally advanced and lethal prostate cancer in a prospective cohort of health professionals, 1988-2006.
Preet K. Dhillon,Stacey A. Kenfield,Stacey A. Kenfield,Meir J. Stampfer,Meir J. Stampfer,Edward Giovannucci +5 more
TL;DR: Reductions in the risk of high‐grade and lethal prostate cancer associated with higher doses of aspirin, but not with greater frequency or duration, are observed in a large, prospective cohort of health professionals, supporting earlier observations of modest inverse associations with advanced prostate cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distinction between symptoms of voiding and filling in benign prostatic hyperplasia: Findings from the health professionals follow-up study
Garry Welch,Ichiro Kawachi,Michael J. Barry,Edward Giovannucci,Graham A. Colditz,Walter C. Willett +5 more
TL;DR: Support is found for using the total score on the AUA SI as a reliable measure of overall symptom severity in BPH, as well as for separately summing the voiding and filling items to measure these distinctive types of lower urinary tract symptomatology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vitamin B6 and colorectal cancer: current evidence and future directions.
TL;DR: For example, this article found that a 30%-50% reduction in risk of colorectal cancer compared with high with low concentrations of vitamin B6 was associated with dietary intake.
