Double Cord Blood Transplantation in Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
Régis Peffault de Latour,Vanderson Rocha,Marie Robin,Celso A. Rodrigues,Delphine Rea,Jerome Laghero,R. Traineau,Patricia Ribaud,C Ferry,Agnès Devergie,Eliane Gluckman,Gérard Socié +11 more
TL;DR: dCBT seems to be an option to treat patients with bone marrow failure syndromes and without a suitable compatible HLA donor, and results need to be established on a large number of patients to warrant the inclusion of dCBT in the treatment strategy of diseases with high risk of rejection.
Journal Article
French national bone marrow donor registry and interaction with foreign files.
TL;DR: A program to obtain volunteer bone marrow donors has been developed and up to now, transplantation has been carried out in 31 patients whom donor searches were initiated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pregnancy after Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Fanconi Anemia Patients: Multi-Institution Cases Report of Female Fertility Recovery
Samir Kanaan Nabhan,Marco A. Bittencourt,Michel Duval,Manuel Abecasis,Carlo Dufour,Karim Boudjedir,Vanderson Rocha,Gérard Socié,Jakob Passweg,Ricardo Pasquini,Eliane Gluckman +10 more
TL;DR: Fertility recovery after HSCT can result from incomplete depletion of the ovarian follicle reserve, and recovery of normal ovarian function and a viable pregnancy, is a realistic possibility even in Fanconi anemia patients following allogeneic SCT.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact Of Rabbit Anti-Thymocyte Globulin-Containing Reduced-Intensity Conditioning Regimens On Outcomes Of Adults Undergoing Unrelated Cord Blood Transplantation For Hematological Malignancies
Luciana Tucunduva,Annalisa Ruggeri,Didier Blaise,Mohamad Mohty,Patrice Ceballos,Patrice Chevallier,Jan J. Cornelissen,Natacha Maillard,Reza Tabrizi,Eefke Petersen,Werner Linkesch,Henrik Sengeolev,Chantal Kenzey,Eliane Gluckman,Vanderson Rocha,Ibrahim Yakoub-Agha +15 more
TL;DR: Use of rATG as part of TCF regimen, was associated with decreased incidence of acute GVHD, however with increased NRM and decreased OS, probably related to the higher incidence of infections.
Journal Article
[Host-graft interactions after allogenic bone marrow transplantation; choice of donor].
Alby N,Bernard A,Agnès Devergie,J. M. Goldman,Hervé P,Maraninchi P,C. Raffoux,Eliane Gluckman +7 more
TL;DR: Overall results of HLA mismatched transplants are disappointing because of the increase of immunological complications and modifications of the conditioning regimen and use of in vivo monoclonal antibodies are currently being investigated.
