Journal ArticleDOI
A grading system based on severity of infection to predict mortality in allogeneic stem cell transplant recipients.
Catherine Cordonnier,Sébastien Maury,Patricia Ribaud,Mathieu Kuentz,François Bassompierre,Eliane Gluckman,Sylvie Chevret +6 more
TL;DR: The grading system identifies the most medically important, life-threatening infections and allow high-risk patients to be identified and it is suggested grade 3 infections should be given priority in the evaluation of anti-infectious strategies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Treatment with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation for acute leukemia increases the risk of graft-versus-host disease and death
O Ringdén,Myriam Labopin,Norbert-Claude Gorin,K. Le Blanc,Vanderson Rocha,Eliane Gluckman,Josy Reiffers,William Arcese,Jaak M. Vossen,Jean-Pierre Jouet,Catherine Cordonnier,Francesco Frassoni +11 more
Journal Article
Perforin and granzyme B: predictive markers for acute GVHD or cardiac rejection after bone marrow or heart transplantation.
Marie-Véronique Clément,Annie Soulié,S. Legros-Maida,J. Guillet,Eliane Gluckman,N. Sigaux,M. Sasportes +6 more
TL;DR: The data indicate that granzyme B and perforin gene expression in skin infiltrating lymphocytes during GVH or within heart infiltrating cells during crisis of rejection are in favor of severe processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Outcomes of UCB transplantation are comparable in FLT3+ AML: Results of CIBMTR, eurocord and EBMT collaborative analysis.
Celalettin Ustun,F. Giannotti,Mei-Jie Zhang,Hai-Lin Wang,Claudio G. Brunstein,Myriam Labopin,Vanderson Rocha,M. de Lima,Frédéric Baron,Brenda M. Sandmaier,Mary Eapen,Eliane Gluckman,Arnon Nagler,Daniel J. Weisdorf,Annalisa Ruggeri +14 more
TL;DR: Umbilical cord blood is a suitable option for adults with FLT3+ AML in the absence of an human leukocyte antigen-matched sibling and its immediate availability may be particularly important for FLT 3+ AMl where early relapse is common, thus allowing HCT in CR1 (first CR) when outcomes are best.
Journal ArticleDOI
Histochemical and ultrastructural study of diffuse melanoderma after bone marrow transplantation
TL;DR: Histology of biopsies of the pigmented skin showed intense pigment deposition in the basal and suprabasal layers, and in dermal macrophages, suggestive of post‐inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
