Erratum: Haematopoietic stem cell transplantation for Shwachman-Diamond disease: A study from the European Group for blood and marrow transplantation (British Journal of Haematology (2005) 131 (231-236))
Simone Cesaro,Rosi Oneto,Chiara Messina,Brenda Gibson,Agnès Buzyn,Colin G. Steward,Eliane Gluckman,Robbert G. M. Bredius,Marc Boogaerts,Christiane Vermylen,Paul Veys,J Marsh,Isabel Badell,G. Michel,Tayfun Güngör,Dietrich Niethammer,Pierre Bordigoni,Cecilia Oswald,Claudio Favre,Jacob Passweg,Giorgio Dini +20 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Reduced Intensity Conditioning Regimen for Unrelated Cord Blood Transplantation in Adults. A Multicentric Phase I-II Trial.
Bernard Rio,Ramdane Belhocine,Marc Renaud,Sylvie François,Eliane Gluckman,Didier Blaise,Vanderson Rocha +6 more
TL;DR: There was a rapid neutrophil recovery with acquired late full chimerism and absence of early TRM and the encouraging results justify the use of cord blood cells in RIC and prospective trials in order to compare phenoidentical peripheral blood stem cell transplantation and UCBT with the same RIC regimen.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reduced-Intensity versus Myeloablative Conditioning in Cord Blood Transplantation for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (40-60 years) across Highly Mismatched HLA Barriers—On Behalf of Eurocord and the Cellular Therapy & Immunobiology Working Party (CTIWP) of EBMT
Vipul Sheth,Fernanda Volt,Jaime Sanz,Laurence Clement,Jan J. Cornelissen,Didier Blaise,Jorge Sierra,Mauricette Michallet,Riccardo Saccardi,Vanderson Rocha,Eliane Gluckman,Christian Chabannon,Annalisa Ruggeri +12 more
TL;DR: The NRM advantage of reduced intensity conditioning and higher GVL associated with greater HLA disparities would expand its use for patients (40-60 years) without compromising efficacy, and compared outcomes between RIC versus MAC regimens.
Journal ArticleDOI
Peripheral blood T lymphocytes bearing DR antigen after bone marrow transplantation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of Outcomes After Unrelated Cord Blood Transplantation and Matched Unrelated Donor RIC Transplantation for Lymphoid Malignancies - A Eurocord-Netcord Group/ Lymphoma Working Party and Chronic Leukemia Working Party of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation Study.
Celso Arrais Rodrigues,Carmen Canals,Claudio G. Brunstein,Juergen Finke,Arnon Nagler,Johan Maertens,Jean-Luc Harousseau,Dietger Niederwieser,Olle Ringdén,Jan J. Cornelissen,Tapani Ruutu,Nigel H. Russell,François Guilhot,Bernard Rio,Didier Blaise,John E. Wagner,Eliane Gluckman,Peter Dreger,Vanderson Rocha,Anna Sureda +19 more
TL;DR: Progression free survival (PFS) was improved in patients with chemosensitive disease, who have received a higher CD34 cell dose, and low-dose TBI in the preparative regimen, but whether outcomes after reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) UCBT are comparable to outcomes after RIC-MUD for lymphoid malignancies remains to be defined.
