Journal Article
Immunosuppressive treatment of aplastic anemia as an alternative treatment for bone marrow transplantation
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of rabbit ATG-containing myeloablative conditioning regimens on the outcome of patients undergoing unrelated single-unit cord blood transplantation for hematological malignancies
Laurent Pascal,Mohamad Mohty,Annalisa Ruggeri,Luciana Tucunduva,Noel-Jean Milpied,Patrice Chevallier,R. Tabrizi,Myriam Labalette,Eliane Gluckman,M. Labopin,Ibrahim Yakoub-Agha +10 more
TL;DR: The results do not support the use of ATG as part of a myeloablative-conditioning regimen before single-unit allo-CBT in younger patients with hematological malignancies.
Journal ArticleDOI
"Worldwide Network for Blood & Marrow Transplantation (WBMT) Special Article, Challenges Facing Emerging Alternate Donor Registries"

TL;DR: Some challenges in establishing a functional HCT donor registry are presented and potential solutions are presented.
Journal Article
The lichen planus like and sclerotic phases of the graft versus host disease in man: an ultrastructural study of six cases.
TL;DR: Skin biopsies from 6 patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) were studied ultrastructurally and found the early phase of chronic GVHD mimics lichen planus, but the late sclerotic phase is distinct from scleroderma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Human herpes virus 8 (HHV8) serology in allogeneic bone marrow transplant recipients.
TL;DR: ThatHHV8 seropositivy among blood donors from the Paris area was comparable to that of BMT donors and recipients before BMT indicates that these patients had not been at risk of HHV8 by blood products received before B MT, although post-BMT HHV 8 seroconversion probably corresponded to contamination by blood transfusions rather than by the BMT.
