TL;DR: The similarity between expression of epidermal cytokines and adhesion molecules (with the exception of VCAM-1) and lymphocyte phenotype in lichen planus-like and sclerodermatous GvHD strongly suggests that the latter occurs as a consequence of the healing process.

TL;DR: The results show that unrelated CBT is a reasonable option when there is no HLA identical BM donor available for children with AL, and with a short follow-up the incidence of relapse was identical in the three groups (CBT, TD-BMT and BMT).
