Demonstration of a Reliable 1 Gb Standalone Spin-Transfer Torque MRAM For Industrial Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a fully functional 1 Gb standalone spin-transfer torque magnetoresistive random access memory (STT-MRAM) integrated on 28 nm CMOS and based on perpendicular magnetic tunnel junctions.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Technology for reliable spin-torque MRAM products

TL;DR: An overview of important features for reliable and manufacturable ST-MRAM as well as new results in two areas: pMTJ arrays with data retention sufficient for programming before 260°C wave solder, and performance of a 256Mb, DDR3 ST- MRAM product chip.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic vortex dynamics in thickness-modulated Ni 80 Fe 20 disks

TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic vortex dynamics in thickness-modulated Ni{}_{80}$Fe${}_{20}$ disks in the form of a Ni${}{80}µFeµµ$ lens on top of Niµ µ´µ disk were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reversal mechanisms of coupled bi-component magnetic nanostructures

TL;DR: Magnetostatically coupled bi-component (NiFe/Fe) thin film structures were fabricated using angle deposition and liftoff processes in this article, including bi component dots consisting of a crescent of Fe adjacent to a lens of NiFe and rectangular rings with two or four NiFe sides plus two Fe sides.
