Journal ArticleDOI

Protocols for cognitive enhancement. A user manual for Brain Health Services-part 5 of 6.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors made a systematic review of CMPT studies based on the GRADE method rating the strength of evidence and provided clinical recommendations to improve cognitive performance in cognitively unimpaired individuals by using cognitive, mental, or physical training (CMPT), non-invasive brain stimulations (NIBS), drugs, or nutrients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Night sleep symptoms in an elderly population and their relation with age, gender, and education

TL;DR: Investigation of night sleep symptoms and their relation with a number of psychic, social and somatic variables showed that age in the over 75 elderly is not a risk factor for a poor night sleep quality and education can modify the elderly's expectations about their own sleep quality.
Journal ArticleDOI

H1 haplotype of the MAPT gene is associated with lower regional gray matter volume in healthy carriers

TL;DR: The data suggest that H1 haplotype is associated with a particular cerebral morphology that may increase the susceptibility of the healthy carriers to develop neurodegenerative diseases such as sporadic tauopathies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clinical characteristics of frontotemporal patients with symmetric brain atrophy

TL;DR: The lack of asymmetry in this small sample of FTD patients was associated with greater brain atrophy, younger age at onset, and presence of the ɛ4 allele of apolipoprotein E, consistent with the hypothesis of greater vulnerability of the brain in ɚ4 carriers.
