What a single electroencephalographic (EEG) channel can tell us about patients with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease.
Claudio Del Percio,Giuseppe Noce,Susanna Lopez,Federico Tucci,Graziano Carlin,Roberta Lizio,Andreea A M Musat,Andrea Soricelli,Marco Salvatore,Raffaele Ferri,Flavio Nobili,Dario Arnaldi,Francesco Famà,Carla Buttinelli,Franco Giubilei,Moira Marizzoni,Bahar Güntekin,Görsev Yener,Fabrizio Stocchi,Laura Vacca,Giovanni B. Frisoni,Claudio Babiloni +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used EEG data acquired in hospital settings (10-20 electrode montage) from 88 ADD participants and 68 age-, education-, and sex-matched normal elderly controls (Nold) were available in an international Eurasian database, and the highest classification accuracy reached 90 % (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve) using Alpha2/Theta power density computed at the C3-P3 bipolar channel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fronto-subcortical hypoperfusion in presymptomatic ftd is associated with behavioral measures, but not cognitive deficits: the genfi study
Saira Saeed Mirza,Henri J.M.M. Mutsaerts,David M. Cash,Martina Bocchetta,David L. Thomas,Katrina M. Dick,John C. van Swieten,Barbara Borroni,Daniela Galimberti,Maria Carmela Tartaglia,James B. Rowe,Caroline Graff,Fabrizio Tagliavini,Giovanni B. Frisoni,Robert Laforce,Elizabeth Finger,Alexandre de Mendonça,Sandro Sorbi,Martin N. Rossor,Sebastien Ourselin,Jonathan D. Rohrer,Bradley J. MacIntosh,Mario Masellis +22 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Cox proportional hazards models using the stepwise selection method were employed to test the association of each of the biomarkers, the cognitive reserve variables, age and gender, with time to a Marginal or Fail rating on the road test.
Book ChapterDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Brain connectivity and metacognition in persons with subjective cognitive decline (COSCODE): Retrospective analyses on the Geneva Memory Clinic cohort
Federica Ribaldi,Federica Ribaldi,Daniele Altomare,Valentina Garibotto,Aline Mendes,Frédéric Assal,Mohamed Eshmawey,Christian Chicherio,Giovanni B. Frisoni +8 more
TL;DR: The COSCODE project, funded by Swiss National Science Foundation and led by the Geneva Memory Clinic, aims to identify possible subgroups of SCD and their associated risk of decline.
