Journal ArticleDOI

Rhoh deficiency reduces peripheral T-cell function and attenuates allogenic transplant rejection.

TL;DR: Mixed lymphocyte reaction revealed that the weaker alloreactivity was associated with a 85% lower cytotoxicity and a 50–80% lower cytokine release in Rhoh‐deficient T cells without an influence on the secretion itself, stressing the importance of Rhoh for the function of peripheral T cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intraendosomal flow cytometry: A novel approach to analyze the protein composition of antigen‐loaded endosomes

TL;DR: A novel method to analyze the protein content of endosomes containing soluble antigens by flow cytometry is described, taking particular care to avoid unwanted clustering of individualendosomes, which can occur during centrifugation, as this severely affects the reliability of the flow cytometric analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distinct roles of T-cell lymphopenia and the microbial flora for gastrointestinal and CNS autoimmunity.

TL;DR: A critical albeit differential role of T‐ cell lymphopenia in the susceptibility to organ‐specific autoimmune responses is confirmed and supported by the observation that adoptive T‐cell transfer corrected the TCR repertoire and improved EAE.
