Journal ArticleDOI

The efficacy and safety of degarelix, a GnRH receptor antagonist: A multicenter, randomized, maintenance dose-finding phase II study with Japanese prostate cancer patients.

TL;DR: The study shows results similar to those from the degarelix pivotal phase III study (CS21), which would support the recommendation of the maintenance dose of 80 mg as a safe and effective monthly dose for the treatment of prostate cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic properties and microstructure of sintered high-T/sub c/ Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O and Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-O oxides

TL;DR: In this article, the critical current density was measured for sintered Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O and Tl-Ba-C-O samples whose major phase was the high-T/sub c/ phase of each system.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel milk-clotting enzyme from Aspergillus oryzae and A. luchuensis is an aspartic endopeptidase PepE presumed to be a vacuolar enzyme.

TL;DR: The Japanese traditional fermentation agent, koji, could be used as an enzyme source for cheese production as the homologous enzyme from A. oryzae and A. luchuensis had milk-clotting activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic properties and microstructure of V/sub 3/Si multifilamentary superconductors

TL;DR: Magnetic properties of V/sub 3/Si multifilamentary superconductors for AC use were studied in this paper, in correlation with cross-sectional microstructures, in order to check the potentiality of V subfilaments for AC.

Smancs preparation dispersible in administration

TL;DR: In this article, an oily contrasting agent (e.g., iodinated poppy oil fatty acid ethyl ester) was used to provide a SMANCS preparation dispersible in administration and consisting of a freeze-dried pharmaceutical composition.
