Reduction of Hepatic Metastases in Rabbits by Administration of an Oily Anticancer Agent into the Portal Vein

TL;DR: SMANCS/Lipiodol has a prolonged anticancer effect because it remains in the portal vein and allows sustained drug release from the oil to aqueous spaces and might be prevented by portal administration of the appropriate oily anticancer agent.

Method and device for plasma cvd

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a plasma CVD method in which the plasma is generated from the gaseous starting material by impressing highfrequency electric power obtained by modulating the amplitude of basic high-frequency electric powers having a frequency from 10MHz to 200 MHz by using a modulation frequency of the 1/1,000 to 1/10 of the basic electric power.

Metallurgical Studies and Optimization of Critical Crrent Density in Bi–(Pb)–Sr–Ca–Cu–O Superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, a 1330-filament Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O wire with a Ag sheath has been successfully fabricated with a critical temperature, Tc of ~105 K.
Journal Article

Antitumor effects of SMANCS on rat mammary tumor induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene.

TL;DR: The results indicate that SMANCS should have less systemic toxicity and a better therapeutic effect than NCS, and red blood cell counts and hemoglobin amounts decreased significantly in rats receiving NCS but no such effects were apparent in the SMAN CS group.

Critical Current Density and Coupling Nature of Grains in Textured Bi(Pb)–Sr–Ca–Cu–O Superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the Jc-H property of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O tape was improved by a combination of the doctor blade and cold working preparation processes.
