Tongue cancer: correlation of MR imaging and sonography with pathology.
Shodayu Takashima,Junpei Ikezoe,K. Harada,Y Akai,Seiki Hamada,Jun Arisawa,Shizuo Morimoto,Norie Masaki,Takenori Kozuka,Hiroshi Maeda +9 more
TL;DR: Although MR failed in one patient to differentiate postradiation scar tissue from tumor, because of similar relaxation time of both, this imaging technique proved to be an important adjunct to the physical examination in the staging of tongue cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fe-Zr Amorphous Alloys for Magnetic Refrigerants near Room Temperature
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct evidence of in vivo nitric oxide production and inducible nitric oxide synthase mRNA expression in the brain of living rat during experimental meningitis.
Yasuhiro Suzuki,Satoshi Fujii,Teiji Tominaga,Takashi Yoshimoto,Shigemoto Fujii,Takaaki Akaike,Hiroshi Maeda,Tetsuhiko Yoshimura +7 more
TL;DR: To detect endogenous nitric oxide produced in a rat bacterial meningitis model, an electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) NO-trapping technique was applied and Inducible NO synthase mRNA expression in the brain tissues also was proven by using a reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction technique.
BookDOI
The Role of nitric oxide in physiology and pathophysiology
Hilary Koprowski,Hiroshi Maeda +1 more
TL;DR: This book discusses the role of Nitric Oxide in the Pathogenesis of Virus-Induced Encephalopathies, and the regulation and Dysregulation of Constitutive NitricOxide Synthases types I and III.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of superconducting magnets using Bi-2212/Ag tapes
Naruaki Tomita,M. Arai,Eiji Yanagisawa,Takeshi Morimoto,Hitoshi Kitaguchi,H. Kumakura,Kazumasa Togano,Tsukasa Kiyoshi,Kiyoshi Inoue,Hiroshi Maeda,Katsumi Nomura,J.C. Vallier +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, several pancake type superconducting coils were fabricated using Bi-2212/Ag tapes prepared by the combination of continuous dip-coating process and melt-solidification and tested in various temperatures and bias fields.
