Inhibition of Iron Corrosion in Sulfuric Acid at Elevated Temperatures by Bismuth(III) Compounds

TL;DR: Inhibition effects of bismuth(III) chloride (BiCl3), BiI3 and benzyl thiocyanate (C6H5CH2SCN or BTC) on corrosion of iron (Fe) in 0.5 M sulfuri...
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical Properties of an Electrosynthesized Poly(p-phenylene vinylene)Film and Its Application to a Simple Electrochemical Fabrication of a Polymer Diode

TL;DR: In this article, the cyclic voltammetry of a poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) film prepared by electrochemical reduction of α,α, α, α′,α′-tetrabromo-p-xylene at Pt in THF shows an oxidation wave at ca. + 0.8 V and a reducti...
Journal ArticleDOI

Nuclear relaxation in CsFeCl3.2H2O and RbFeCl3.2H2O: influence of diffusive solitons

TL;DR: The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation times of 1H and 133Cs in CsFeCl3.2H2O and RbFeClCl3 as discussed by the authors are measured in the paramagnetic region and can be satisfactorily described with a diffusive soliton model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Organic Electronic Conductors

TL;DR: The history of organic electronic conductors for half century is shortly reviewed and some recent topics on the synthesis of conducting polymers are presented as discussed by the authors, which is one of the most fascinating materials of its high EL ability.
