Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of diazenido-ligated vanadium nanoparticles.

TL;DR: Metallic vanadium nanoparticles stabilized with 4-octylphenyldiazenido groups synthesized via the reduction of VCl4 with superhydride (LiBHEt3) in the presence of 4- octyl phenyldiazonium salt in an Ar-filled glovebox resulted in the passivation of V-N═N-Ar covalent bonds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Protonation-induced cyclization of 1,8-bis(arylethynyl)anthraquinones: Monopyrylium salt formation and intensification of donor-acceptor interaction

TL;DR: In this paper, a protonation-induced double cyclization reaction of 1,4-Ar2Aq and 1,5-Ar 2Aq with strong acid HX that generated the corresponding dipyryl was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of π-Conjugated Ferrocene-Anthraquinone Alternating Polymers and their Protonation Reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, an insoluble 1:1-donor/acceptor polymer (1,1′-Fc-1,8-Aq) was obtained and characterized by IR and UV-vis spectra and elemental analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fluorescence and phosphorescence of a series of silicon-containing six-membered-ring molecules

TL;DR: In this article, various silicon-containing six-membered-ring molecules were synthesized by Pd-catalyzed coupling reaction of 1,2-bis(dimethylsilyl)arenes with 1, 2-diiodoarenes in moderate yields.
