Journal ArticleDOI
Counterion-dependent valence tautomerization of ferrocenyl-conjugated pyrylium salts.
Mio Kondo,Maai Uchikawa,Kosuke Namiki,Wen Wei Zhang,Shoko Kume,Eiji Nishibori,Hiroyuki Suwa,Shinobu Aoyagi,Makoto Sakata,Masaki Murata,Yoshio Kobayashi,Hiroshi Nishihara +11 more
TL;DR: Electrochemical properties and IR spectroscopy showed that the frequencies of the skeletal vibration of the ferrocene moiety decreased with increasing temperature in the TFSI(-) and PF(6)(-) salts, indicating the development of a ferrocenium-like character.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ordered alignment of a one-dimensional π-conjugated nickel bis(dithiolene) complex polymer produced via interfacial reactions.
TL;DR: A liquid-liquid interfacial synthesis using 1,2,4,5-benzenetetrathiol and nickel(II) ions produced a thin black film of a π-conjugated polymer featuring the nickel bis(dithiolene) motif, which was observed to align regularly on a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite substrate using scanning tunnelling microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
HHV8-negative primary effusion lymphoma of the peritoneal cavity presenting with a distinct immunohistochemical phenotype.
Shinya Tanaka,Harutaka Katano,Kenichi Tsukamoto,Mooran Jin,Sumie Oikawa,Hiroshi Nishihara,Hirofumi Sawa,Ken-ichi Sawada,Michio Shimizu,Tetsutaro Sata,Yasunori Fujioka,Kazuo Nagashima +11 more
TL;DR: An autopsy case of primary effusion lymphoma of the peritoneal cavity in an immunocompetent patient is described, considering the present case to be an HHV8‐negative PEL with keratin and EMA positivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Luminescent heteroleptic tris(dipyrrinato)indium(III) complexes.
TL;DR: Two luminescent heteroleptic tris(dipyrrinato)indium(III) complexes bearing two types of dipyrrinatos ligands are designed here by theoretical calculation and synthesized, and one shows a high fluorescence quantum yield in toluene, which exceeds that of the corresponding BF2 complex.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechano-, thermo-, solvato-, and vapochromism in bis(acetato-κ1O)[4′-(4-(diphenylamino)phenyl)](2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine-κ3N,N′,N′′)zinc(II) and its polymer
Takamasa Tsukamoto,Risa Aoki,Ryota Sakamoto,Ryota Sakamoto,Ryojun Toyoda,Masaki Shimada,Yohei Hattori,Yasutaka Kitagawa,Eiji Nishibori,Masayoshi Nakano,Hiroshi Nishihara +10 more
TL;DR: The titled complex exhibits multi-functional luminochromism in the solid state, despite its simple chemical structure.
