ELM pacing and trigger investigations at JET with the new ITER Like Wall

TL;DR: In this paper, a stable and reliable edge-localized mode (ELM) control was achieved when using outboard fuelling size pellets, which was successfully applied for scenario development purposes in the ITER baseline H-mode scenario at 2.5 MA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogen plasmas with ICRF inverted minority and mode conversion heating regimes in the JET tokamak

TL;DR: The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) was used for the initial operation of the ITER as mentioned in this paper, where it was envisaged that activation will be minimized by using hydrogen (H) plasmas where the reference ion...
Journal ArticleDOI

Modern numerical methods for plasma tomography optimisation

TL;DR: In this article, an optimised version of robust and fast tomographic algorithm based on the Tikhonov regularisation constrained to minimum Fisher information is presented. And the resulting speed of reconstruction is compared to other referenced tomographic algorithms.
