TL;DR: A pancreatic cancer patient-derived organoid (PDO) library is generated that recapitulates the mutational spectrum and transcriptional subtypes of primary Pancreatic cancer and proposes that combined molecular and therapeutic profiling of PDOs may predict clinical response and enable prospective therapeutic selection.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: This study used an organoid culture system to investigate how transcription and the enhancer landscape become altered during discrete stages of disease progression in a PDA mouse model, and revealed that the metastatic transition is accompanied by massive and recurrent alterations in enhancer activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tuveson,David A. Tuveson +36 more
TL;DR: Combined targeting of the EGFR effector AKT and the glutathione antioxidant pathway mimicked Nrf2 ablation to potently inhibit pancreatic cancer ex-vivo and in vivo, representing a promising synthetic lethal strategy for treating the disease.

TL;DR: Pancreatic cancer organoids can be successfully and rapidly created by means of EUS-FNB sampling using a 22-gauge needle at the time of initial diagnosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transpapillary drainage has no added benefit on treatment outcomes in patients undergoing EUS-guided transmural drainage of pancreatic pseudocysts: a large multicenter study.

Goodman,Natasha Chhabra,Wallace J. Wang,Petros C. Benias,David L. Carr-Locke,Christopher J. DiMaio +41 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared treatment outcomes between patients with pancreatic pseudocysts undergoing TMD versus combined (TMD and TPD) drainage (CD) and identified predictors of symptomatic and radiologic resolution.
