Analysis of Laboratory-Evolved Flavin-Dependent Halogenases Affords a Computational Model for Predicting Halogenase Site Selectivity.

TL;DR: This model was used to accurately predict the site selectivity of halogenase variants toward different synthetic substrates, providing a valuable tool for implementing halogenases in biocatalysis efforts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Target Identification of a Novel Electrophilic Warhead, 2-Chloromethylquinoline

TL;DR: The 2-CMQs that have been developed here are novel PTGES2 binders that have the potential to serve as therapies for the treatment of human diseases such as inflammation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Precise electrical gating of the single-molecule Mizoroki-Heck reaction

TL;DR: In this article , an accurate tuning of a single-molecule Mizoroki-Heck reaction via applying gate voltages as well as complete deciphering of its detailed intrinsic mechanism was achieved by employing an in-situ electrical single-Molecule detection, which possesses the capability of single-event tracking.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hyperconjugative π → σ*CF Interactions Stabilize the Enol Form of Perfluorinated Cyclic Keto–Enol Systems

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that perfluorination of keto-enol systems significantly shifts the equilibrium toward the enol tautomer, and quantum mechanical calculations revealed that the shift in equilibria was not linear in the number of enol atoms.
