Impact of climate change on weeds in agriculture: a review.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review the mechanisms of responses of arable weeds to the direct and indirect effects of climate change and classify them into three distinct types of shifts occurring at different scales: (1) range shifts at the landscape scale, (2) niche shifts at community scale, and (3) trait shifts of individual species at the population scale.
Journal ArticleDOI

Weber,Gianluigi Zanetti,Christoph Steinbeck +62 more
TL;DR: PhenoMeNal is an advanced and complete solution to set up Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) that brings workflow-oriented, interoperable metabolomics data analysis platforms into the cloud and constitutes a keystone solution in cloud e-infrastructures available for metabolomics.
Journal ArticleDOI
FAIR Computational Workflows
Carole Goble,Sarah Cohen-Boulakia,Stian Soiland-Reyes,Daniel Garijo,Yolanda Gil,Michael R. Crusoe,Kristian Peters,Daniel Schober +7 more
TL;DR: This paper argues that FAIR principles for workflows need to address their specific nature in terms of their composition of executable software steps, their provenance, and their development.
Journal ArticleDOI

Weiß,Anja Widdig,Anja Widdig,Steffen Neumann,Nicole M. van Dam +33 more
TL;DR: Eco-Metabolomics as mentioned in this paper is an untargeted biochemical approach to measure many thousands of metabolites in different species, including plants and animals, with the aim of characterising biochemical interactions of organisms across different spatial and temporal scales.

Jan Stanstrup,Corey D. Broeckling,Rick Helmus,Nils Hoffmann,Ewy Mathé,Thomas Naake,L Nicolotti,Kristian Peters,Johannes Rainer,Reza M. Salek,Tobias Schulze,Emma L. Schymanski,Michael A. Stravs,Etienne A. Thévenot,Hendrik Treutler,Ralf J. M. Weber,Egon Willighagen,Michael Witting,Steffen Neumann +18 more
TL;DR: This review provides an extensive overview of existing packages in R for different steps in a typical computational metabolomics workflow, including data processing, biostatistics, metabolite annotation and identification, and biochemical network and pathway analysis.
