TL;DR: Daily supplementation of calcium with vitamin D for seven years had no effect on the incidence of colorectal cancer among postmenopausal women, and the long latency associated with the development of colorescopy cancer, along with the seven-year duration of the trial, may have contributed to this null finding.

Diabetes mellitus, other medical conditions and familial history of cancer as risk factors for pancreatic cancer.

TL;DR: The findings support previous studies indicating that diabetes is a risk factor for pancreatic cancer, as well as a possible complication of the tumour, and the aetiologic role of several medical conditions/interventions, including diabetes mellitus, cholecystectomy, ulcer/gastrectomy and allergic states.
