Journal ArticleDOI

Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering off the Neutron

M. Benali, +105 more
TL;DR: The present experiment exploits the interference between the deeply virtual Compton scattering (DVCS) and the Bethe-Heitler processes to extract a linear combination of generalized parton distributions (GPDs) particularly sensitive to E_{q}, the least constrained GPD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of parity violation in electron–quark scattering

D. Wang, +108 more
- 05 Feb 2014 -
TL;DR: A measurement of the parity-violating asymmetry in electron–quark scattering yields a determination of 2C2u − C2d with a precision increased by a factor of five relative to the earlier result, providing evidence with greater than 95 per cent confidence that the C2q couplings are non-zero, as predicted by the electroweak theory.
Journal ArticleDOI

Probing the repulsive core of the nucleon-nucleon interaction via the (4)He(e,e'pN) triple-coincidence reaction.

I. Korover, +119 more
TL;DR: Two-nucleon short-range correlated pairs are identified and their isospin structure is deduced as a function of missing momentum in a region where the nucleon-n nucleon (NN) force is expected to change from predominantly tensor to repulsive.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Precision Limit on the Strange Vector Form Factors of the Proton

Z. Ahmed, +106 more
TL;DR: With this measurement, the world data on strange contributions to nucleon form factors are seen to be consistent with zero and not more than a few percent of the proton form factors.
