Journal ArticleDOI

Comprehensive evaluation of transcriptome-based cell-type quantification methods for immuno-oncology

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that computational deconvolution performs at high accuracy for well-defined cell- type signatures and proposed how fuzzy cell-type signatures can be improved, and suggested that future efforts should be dedicated to refining cell population definitions and finding reliable signatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exploring the SARS-CoV-2 virus-host-drug interactome for drug repurposing.

TL;DR: CoVex as discussed by the authors is an interactive online platform for SARS-CoV-2 host interactome exploration and drug (target) identification, which integrates virus-human protein interactions, human protein-protein interactions, and drug-target interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Computational strategies to combat COVID-19: useful tools to accelerate SARS-CoV-2 and coronavirus research.

Franziska Hufsky, +54 more
TL;DR: Bioinformatics workflows and tools for the routine detection of SARS-CoV-2 infection, the reliable analysis of sequencing data, the tracking of the COVID-19 pandemic and evaluation of containment measures, the study of coronavirus evolution, the discovery of potential drug targets and development of therapeutic strategies are reviewed.
