Scandium Carbene Complexes: Synthesis of Mixed Alkyl, Amido, and Phosphido Derivatives

TL;DR: In this article, different synthetic strategies are proposed to obtain a family of scandium carbene complexes, starting either from either Sc trichloride, Sc trisbenzyl, or Sc bis(diphenylthiophosphinoyl)methanediide chloride complex.
Journal ArticleDOI

Increasing the Lipophilic Character of Tetraphenylborate Anions through Silyl Substituents

TL;DR: Trimethylsilyl- and dimethyl(1H, 1H, 2H,2H-perfluorooctyl) substituents have been introduced in the para position of tetraphenylborate anions, resulting in enhanced solubility of their complexes n-Bu4N[B(C6H4SiMe2R-4]4] (R = Me, CH2CH2C6F13) and [Rh(dppe)2] (dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenyl
Journal ArticleDOI

Isohexide hydroxy esters : Synthesis and application of a new class of biobased AB-type building blocks

TL;DR: In this article, a new family of sugar derived 1,4:3,6-dianhydrohexitol based AB-type monomers, containing one methyl ester group and a secondary hydroxyl group in all four possible stereo isomers (RR, RS, SR, SS), was established by 1D and 2D NMR analysis, which was further confirmed by single-crystal X-ray structure determination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Platinum-pincer introduction using active ester chemistry

TL;DR: The N -hydroxysuccin-imide ester of 3,5-bis-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-4-(iodoplatino(II))-benzoic acid was synthesized in this paper.
