The new multi-directional polydentate ligand 2,4,6-(di-pyridin-2-yl-amino)-[1,3,5]triazine (dpyatriz) can discriminate between Zn(II) and Co(II) nitrate.

TL;DR: The rigid multidentate tri-directional and potentially nonadentate ligand 2,4,6-(di-pyridin-2-yl-amino)-[1,3,5]triazine (dpyatriz) is able to differentiate between Co(II) and Zn(II), and the molecular structure of the free ligand has also been determined using XRD as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phenoxaphosphine-Based Diphosphine Ligands. Synthesis and Application in the Hydroformylation Reaction

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of diphosphine ligands based on 2,7-di-tert-butyl-9,9-dimethylxanthene (1), p-tolyl ether (2), ferrocene (3), and benzene (4) backbones were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure, and metathesis activity of ruthenium carbene complexes containing diphosphines

TL;DR: A series of ruthenium benzylidene complexes containing diphosphines (xantphos, dppf, Cy 2 P(CH 2 ) n PCy 2 ( n ˚5, 8)) has been obtained by phosphine exchange in the ruthe-nium carbene complex RuCl 2 (CHPh)(PPh 3 ) 2, or in a one-pot two-step synthesis from RuCl2 (PPh3 ) 3, phenyldiazomethane, and diphophosphine as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mononuclear diastereopure non-heme Fe(II) complexes of pentadentate ligands with pyrrolidinyl moieties: Structural studies, and alkene and sulfide oxidation

TL;DR: The catalytic potential of these complexes in the oxidation of alkenes and sulfides in the presence of H2O2 has been analyzed in this article, and the solution structures of complexes 4-7 were characterized by means of UV-Vis, IR, ESI-MS, conductivity and CD measurements.
