Journal ArticleDOI

T-shaped cationic Cu(I) complexes with hemilabile PNP-type ligands

TL;DR: The versatile coordination behavior of the PNP ligands 1A and 1B to CuI is described, whereby a hemilabile interaction of the pyridine N-donor atom to the copper center resulted in a rare T-shaped complex with 1A, while with 1B also a tetracoordinated species could be isolated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cationic and neutral Ni(II) complexes containing a non-innocent PNP ligand: formation of alkyl and thiolate species.

TL;DR: The synthesis and characterization of a series of cationic and neutral Ni-complexes with the non-innocent PNP(tBu) pincer ligand is discussed and the mononuclear Ni-thiolate species and are cleanly generated and their structures have been determined by X-ray crystal structure determination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dehydrogenation of formic acid by Ir-bisMETAMORPhos complexes: experimental and computational insight into the role of a cooperative ligand.

TL;DR: The synthesis of Ir-complexes with three bisMETAMORPhos ligands with activity towards HCOOH dehydrogenation and the dual role of the ligand during catalysis is discussed, using spectroscopic and computational methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Terminal phosphinidene complexes Cp-R(L)M=PAr of the group 9 transition metals cobalt, rhodium, and iridium. Synthesis, structures, and properties

TL;DR: Novel terminal rhodium and cobalt-complexed phosphinidenes, Cp*(PR3)RhPAr (3−5) and Cp(PPh3)CoPAr(8), were obtained by dehydrohalogenation of the primary phosphine complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of novel chelating benzimidazole-based carbenes and their nickel(II) complexes: activity in the Kumada coupling reaction

TL;DR: Nickel(II) halide complexes of novel chelating bidentate benzimidazole-based N-heterocyclic carbenes have been prepared from Ni(OAc)2 and bisbenzimidrazolium salts as mentioned in this paper.
